🐾 Ambassador Spotlight: Beth & The Yorkshire Five - Life With Labradors, A Spaniel Queen & A Fox Terrier

East Yorkshire → Lake District → Muddy fields and magical forests. Meet the family behind @tails_from_yorkshire.

📍 Meet Beth - Country Walks, Horses, Dogs & Endless Adventures

Beth lives in East Yorkshire surrounded by animals (and we mean surrounded). She has four horses, five dogs, tropical fish and one wonderfully fat cat.

Life is outdoors, muddy, busy, joyful and occasionally chaotic in the best way.

“I love exploring the countryside, taking photos and competing with my horses.”

Photography is how she collects memories. Dogs are how she collects happiness.

Beth - whether on foot, on horseback, or exploring with Molly and Minnie by her side. A life shaped by the outdoors, where dogs, horses, and nature are woven seamlessly into everyday adventure.

🐶 The Pack (and Their Personalities)

Beth shares her life with five very different dogs:

  • Minnie – 3-year-old working Labrador
  • Molly – 15-year-old working Labrador
  • Margot – 5-month-old working Labrador puppy
  • Maple – 2-year-old Cavalier King Charles spaniel
  • Bear – 9-year-old wire-haired fox terrier

If Beth had to sum them up in three words:

Loyal, chaos, entertaining

Which every dog owner knows is the perfect combination.

Maple - gentle, observant, and quietly confident. A soft soul with a thoughtful presence, wearing her custom Pixie and Sandstorm wide XS collar with matte gold name embossing.

✨ Favourite Memory (Warning: You’ll Laugh)

It’s Christmas Eve.
Dinner prep is underway.
The sausages are on the side for pigs in blankets…

…enter Molly.

Puppy Molly climbed the kitchen worktop, pierced a hole in the sausage string, pulled the entire chain out and ate every single one.

“We had no pigs in blankets for Christmas.”

Zero regrets from Molly.
100% iconic Labrador behaviour.

Molly = legend.

Molly at 15 - wiser, slower, and still absolutely unapologetic. From sausage-stealing puppy to Christmas legend, some Labradors never change… and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

🎨 Coat Colours & Collar Favourites

Beth’s pack is full of beautiful coat contrasts:

  • 3 × black Labradors
  • Maple: black and tan
  • Bear: light / cream-coloured

Her favourite colours for them?

Sandstorm is “absolute favourite.”
Greens, olive, moss, earthy tones and Merlot.

These tones look stunning on dark coats, especially outside among fields, leaf fall and forest trails.

🌟 Top choice:
Treasure x Pixie (Foxes Glade embossing) - Beth’s all-time favourite combo.

“It’s classy but not too bright. The embossing shows up well on the colour and it shows up well against the coat.”

🌿 What are the best natural collar colours for Black-Coated Dogs?

Minnie - bold, outdoorsy, and full of character. Her custom Foxes Glade embossed hound collar pairs soft Pixie baby pink tones with warm golden Treasure details, chosen to stand out beautifully against her black coat.

🌿 A Typical Adventure with the Yorkshire Five

Beth’s walks aren’t staged, planned, or overly tidy.

They’re real.

  • Off-lead freedom
  • Somewhere with water
  • Everyone chasing a ball
  • Dogs being dogs
  • Mud, puddles, chaos, joy

“The priority is dogs being allowed to be dogs and enjoy themselves.”

That is EXACTLY what Woof & Snout designs stand for.

Mud? Bring it.
Rain? Gorgeous.
Water? Absolutely yes.

Everything wipes clean and nothing smells.

Margot - five months old and already fully embracing adventure. Snow-dusted whiskers, bright eyes, and that unmistakable joy that comes from exploring the world one muddy (or snowy) step at a time.

🏞 Favourite UK Place to Explore

There was no hesitation:

The Lake District.

Dog-friendly trails.
Wild water swims for Minnie.
Views that never get old.
Every season is beautiful.

If you see breathtaking photos of shiny black Labradors against red leaves - it’s probably Beth.

🎒 Walk Essentials

One thing Beth never leaves the house without:

A ball.
(Realistically… multiple balls.)

If you have working labradors, this is not a choice.
This is law.

🪡 How Beth Found Woof & Snout

“We were lucky enough to join at the very beginning…”

🧩 Style Inspiration

Beth’s style:

Earthy, natural & outdoorsy
…with a touch of Merlot just to make things spicy.

Her dogs are often photographed:

  • in woods
  • against autumn leaves
  • by water
  • in frost and snow
  • tucked under foliage

Her aesthetic is nature first, dogs second, collars third
and somehow all three look magical at once.

Beth with Bear, Molly and Minnie - where (mostly) earthy tones, flowing water, and woodland textures set the scene. A nature-first aesthetic, shaped by real adventures and dogs who belong outdoors.

👥 Community & Friendship

“It’s a family. We love each other. We laugh. We cry and we argue.”

Woof & Snout ambassadors often say the same thing:
it doesn’t feel like “influencers” — it feels like a pack.

Beth has made too many friends and wouldn’t go back.

“I can’t imagine life without them.”

That is the dream of a dog brand community.

“Dogs aren’t here forever. Capture every memory you can.”

🌟 Final Words from Beth

“Enjoy all the small things in life. We’re not here forever and neither are our dogs, but there is some joy in everything.”

And that might be one of the greatest ambassador quotes we’ve ever received.

Beth sitting in a rowing boat on a river, holding her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, with a stone bridge and riverside town in the background.
A quiet moment to end on - Beth and Maple, wrapped up in stillness, water, and time together. Because at the heart of it all, it’s always been about shared moments, wherever the day takes you.
