From Cosy Autumn to Festive Magic with Svein the Springer Spaniel (W&S x Canine Crafts Giveaway)

12 Days of Christmas | Day 1 Giveaway
There’s a moment in late autumn where the air changes — not abruptly, but gently. Leaves still cling to amber warmth, but Christmas is waiting just behind it.
Day One of our Christmas Giveaway with Canine Crafts UK captures that quiet shift - the feeling of almost winter, when garlands turn from sunflower gold to rich, festive reds.
Filmed by Karinann Photography from Fife, Scotland, this first video is everything we hoped it would be. It's cosy, warm, seasonal, and full of that subtle Woof & Snout magic.
And at the centre of it all?
Svein. The Springer Spaniel with his entire heart in his eyes and an extremely boop-able snout.

The Story in Motion
What we love most about this piece is how little is said, yet how much is felt.
Autumn slowly gives way to Christmas: the wreath goes up, the stockings are hung, the robin finds its branch on the Christmas tree,
and Wildflower - our spring-summer scent - quietly steps aside for Winter Spice, rich with warmth and comfort.
It’s not flashy.
It doesn’t shout.
It simply becomes Christmas.
Then comes our favourite moment. Karinann leans down to Svein, gently taps his nose, and with that small, perfect boop he transforms.
His everyday Foxes Glade hound collar disappears, and in its place sits his festive Merlot Fawn Hollow hound collar, finished with gold-foiled detail and glowing softly against his coat.
A tiny bit of magic, achieved with just a boop of the snout.

The Cedar Stag collar in Sage — winter in one design. ❄️✨
Multiple embossed stags, some prancing and some standing tall, surrounded by delicate woodland foliage. Finished with silver hardware on waterproof Biothane, and photographed in fresh snow with that golden winter bokeh we dream of.
It’s the kind of collar that looks just as magical on a frosty morning walk as it does on the dog curled up by the tree.
Svein, The Wreath & Winter Joy
The second half of the film feels like watching a dog discover Christmas for the first time. Svein noses the Canine Crafts wreath toy carefully from the tree, then proudly trots with it - as if he’s chosen his decoration for the season and he's proud of his choice.
Through the branches…
Through the wreath arch…
Sitting with it placed gently at his paws…
Running, joyful, collar glinting quietly as he moves.
Nothing staged.
Just a dog, his toy, and pure December Christmas happiness.

The Holly Bush collars: two takes on woodland winter magic. 🌿✨
The first is a hound collar: sage wraparound with plain holly embossing, backed in deep gojiberry and finished with hand-painted gold speckled stars. Underneath rests a single band Moss Biothane collar with silver hardware, the same delicate holly leaves pressed into the material.
Photographed on dark wood with a festive red backdrop and warm bokeh, these collars feel like December forests: evergreen, golden light, and quiet magic in the details.

❤️ A note for Karinann
We’ve been lucky enough to work with Karinann, Svein and Ernesto for 18 months now, and she continues to create worlds and magic rather than content.
She sees dogs the way we feel them - full of soul, softness and personality.
This video is just the beginning of what she’s captured for our Christmas series, and we’re so proud to be able to share them all.
