Warning: Never leave your dog unattended with any accessory. No product is indestructible and our apparel and grooming products are not designed to be ingested or played with. It is the owners responsibility to choose appropriate products for their pets as each pet is individual and will have individual needs. It is the owners responsibility to check their items regularly for signs of damage and/or wear and tear and replace appropriately.

Care & Cleaning:

We recommend using warm water to clean our Biothane dogs collars and leads, and when required, a small amount of fairy liquid. Please avoid using harsh chemicals on your dogs products, as these may not be suitable for the materials or special finishes. We recommend to use either your fingers or a soft damp cloth to assist with cleaning.

After cleaning, please pat dry your dogs collar and leave to fully air dry.

Whilst our collars are fully weatherproof and designed to be waterproof, appropriate care should always be taken. Rinsing and patting your collar dry and leaving to air dry is always recommended for best practice. For collars regularly submerged in water, we recommend our silver hardware and to rinse and dry after use.

Please note: our collars, alongside the majority of metal collars available, are not designed to be salt-proof, and the paint in our speckled star range may be damaged by exposure to salt. Whilst the majority of applications and uses in daily wear are suitable for our apparel, we do have a range of collars in development currently specifically designed for salt-water applications as these require specific care.
